Meet the Girl Behind the Lens

Hi, I’m Autumn the photographer behind The Honey Lens! 🤎

I’m an East Texas photographer, mama, step mama, wife, and the girl who is almost always behind a camera capturing something. When I’m not photographing a session, you can usually find me spending time with my family, chasing kiddos around, crafting, baking, editing way too many photos, or probably planning my next creative idea.

Photography started as something I simply loved doing, but somewhere along the way, it became so much more. I realized just how special it is to freeze a season of someone’s life that they’ll never get back quite the same way again.

I know firsthand how quickly life changes and how fast the little moments become memories. That's a huge part of why I love what I do. I want to capture the belly laughs, tiny hands, messy hair, genuine smiles, sweet glances and all those little in-between moments that tell your story.

My sessions are laid-back and fun. You don't have to know how to pose or worry about your kids being perfectly behaved—I promise, some of my favorite photos come from the chaos! I'll guide you when you need it while also giving you room to simply be yourselves.

My editing style is warm, natural and timeless. I love beautiful colors, natural skin tones and images that still look and feel like you. My goal isn't to completely change a photograph through editing, but to bring out what was already beautiful about the moment.

The Honey Lens has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and capture everything from families and little ones to seniors, couples, weddings, sports and life's biggest milestones. I truly feel lucky every time someone trusts me with their memories.
